The Homeland Security & Defense Business Council is a membership organization that advances the interests of private sector companies working in the homeland security marketplace.  The Council is a non-profit, non-partisan group of the leading companies that are providing homeland security/homeland defense solutions and their principal senior executives.

The Council serves as a conduit to help build stronger and more meaningful relationships between senior leadership in the public and private sectors to promote the importance and critical role of the private sector in achieving the vision and mission for homeland security nationwide.  Council  members work together and in concert with government officials and other community leaders invested in homeland security solutions to achieve a culture of preparedness in our country.

The Council works to address a broad range of policy issues to develop and implement better and more effective solutions to secure America’s citizens and critical assets. Through numerous committees and working groups that utilize the expertise of both our principal members and their internal subject matter experts (SMEs), the Council develops policies and recommendations to further a thriving homeland security market. This helps ensure the swift utilization of innovation solutions, efficient utilization of resources, and adoption of the most advanced security to protect our citizens, economy and critical assets.
