The Homeland Security & Defense Business Council's mission is to create a seamless continuum of prevention and preparedness, as well as a foundation of resiliency that utilizes the resources and expertise of the private sector to communicate, coordinate and cooperate more effectively with the private sector. The Council identifies and promotes strategies by which industry can provide input and add value to critical homeland security missions and solutions.
The Council advocates for fairness and openness in the federal contracting process, inclusion of the private sectors' perspective in major legislative and administrative initiatives, and the effective use of resources and adoption of the most advanced security solutions to protect our citizens, economy and critical assets.
