Please join the Council on an Executive Tour to El Paso, Texas on Monday, October 28th and Tuesday, October 29th. Our visit will include a combination of briefings, tours, and discussions with the U.S. Border Patrol, CBP Office of Field Operations, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The program is designed to help our members better understand the mission and unique operational capabilities and challenges of CBP and ICE in El Paso through a closer look at their critical facilities, business processes, people, and technologies. Members will visit the CBP Bridge of the Americas Port of Entry; tour the physical land border and related technology and infrastructure; visit the Otero County Processing Center and Tornillo migrant holding facility; and gain a greater insight into the humanitarian and security issues involved with processing and caring for detainee populations. We will also hold a cross-agency discussion on border and immigration issues with a range of DHS representatives, HHS and FBI.
