Executive Tour to the United States Secret Service James J. Rowley Training Center

The Council is hosting an Executive Tour of the United States Secret Service James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) in Laurel, MD.  The one-day program will combine tours, demonstrations, and briefings to provide participants with intimate customer interaction, peer-to-peer networking, and a better understanding of the USSS' mission, operations, and capabilities. Attendees will also participate in a roundtable discussion with leaders from the JJRTC and USSS Headquarters to exchange insights on the challenges and opportunities that lie within preparing the next-generation of homeland security officials for new and emerging threats.

The agenda will include:

  • A demonstration of the center's judgmental use of force simulator

  • A mock 'attack on principal' demonstration in the tactical village

  • A tour of USSS armored vehicles and a driving demonstration

  • A briefing at the Weapons Library

  • Introductory and closing roundtable discussions with USSS leaders
